Our aim is to serve the needs of all art lovers; from those looking for a one-off painting to serious collectors looking for investments.

About UsThe civilizations of the world’s diverse peoples have been passed down through generations, with culture and art making profound contributions, each reaching extraordinary heights. Driven by an inner spirit, rational thought and emotional sensibility exist independently yet harmoniously, enhancing one another. While no one can choose their birthplace, every individual has the right and obligation to contribute to the development of human civilization. Our core team members hail from the East.
Chinese civilization, a cornerstone of world civilization, serves as both the foundation and source of our lives, merging with the universal values of globalization. Eastern civilizations, including those of China, Japan, and Korea, have made remarkable efforts to enrich the diversity of global culture. This diversity, in turn, propels human civilization toward an even more brilliant and flourishing future.

Thanks to the geographic closeness and a shared journey of learning and personal connections, I (Rick Farrell), an advocate of independent thought, have known and collaborated with the renowned cultural icon and artist "Lao Duan" for more than two decades. Through Lao Duan, I was introduced to his mentor, the steadfast and visionary artist Professor Lin Yipeng, whom I hold in the highest regard as teachers and friends. Thus, I have formed a deep and inseparable bond with culture, art, and artists.

Reflecting on the PastSince 2011, driven by shared values, we frequently gathered around art, which inspired us to conceptualize building a collaborative team. In March 2014, in Nanjing, we established platforms such as Dingdu Culture and Art Gallery. Our initial purpose was practical: to enrich and serve our own lives. As is widely known, China’s institutional framework has hindered the formation of a free market. Given this, our yearning for free competition led us, in December 2018, to relocate to Australia, where we prepared to enter a truly competitive international stage. By October 2021, with the convergence of favourable circumstances, we successfully established the TIDO ART platform in Melbourne.

Looking Ahead
We are unwavering in our commitment to walk an independent path in life, making art accessible to everyone. Our mission remains unchanged: to let art illuminate life and elevate living into an art form. Like-minded friends have weathered storms together, and every member of our team is deeply engaged in the creation of this new endeavor.
Art is the aesthetic expression of life. Culture is the blossom of existence, and life is elevated through art. Our existence is imbued with thought, spirit, and emotion, dwelling between heaven and earth. Dingdu’s original aspiration endures: to begin with sincerity and effort, and to culminate in self-fulfillment and uplifting others.
Let us join hands and, through our love for art, sincerely cherish every vibrant and beautiful life, including our own. Such lives brim with vitality, and such societies are full of hope!
