Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum is a cultural institution directly under the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture. Duan Yijian, a native of Shuyang, Jiangsu, graduated in 2001 from the Department of Chinese Painting at Nanjing Normal University. His work combines traditional ink techniques with modern artistic elements, creating a unique artistic language. He excels at finding balance between delicate brushstrokes and deep philosophical expression, establishing a striking dialogue between the figurative and abstract, emotion and reason.
Wu Guobao, a native of Shuyang, Jiangsu, has long been engaged in calligraphy and painting creation and teaching. His works are known for their exquisite, refined brushwork that evokes a unique understanding of nature and life. Building on traditional ink techniques, he incorporates more abstract elements, pushing the boundaries of traditional art and highlighting a distinctive personal style.
